How does the deposit work?+
A deposit secures your date and time slot — it is deducted from your package total, not added on top. Once your request is confirmed by the team, you'll receive a secure payment link for the deposit. Your date is only locked in once the deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Life happens. Cancel 30+ days before your event for a full deposit refund. Between 14 and 30 days, 50% of the deposit is refunded. Inside 14 days the deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred once to a new date within 12 months at no extra charge. If we ever have to cancel, you receive a 100% refund immediately.
Do you travel? Are there travel fees?+
Tariku is based in Denver, Colorado — events within 50 miles of Denver have no travel fee. Beyond that, travel is quoted per event (mileage, and flights/hotel for out-of-state or international celebrations). Destination weddings across the diaspora are welcome — the travel quote is always agreed in writing before you pay anything.
How do the time slots work?+
Each date has five arrival slots: 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM (Mountain Time). The slot is Tariku's start time — coverage then runs for the hours included in your package. Only one booking is accepted per slot, and a slot shows as taken the moment a request is submitted, so popular dates go fast.

The monogram is drawn from Tibeb weaving logic — stepped diamonds, mirrored chevrons and counted repetition — so the numeral reads as woven cloth rather than a font. It survives at 24px as an avatar, at chest scale as embroidery, and at building scale in gold on obsidian.

The house textile is the authentic Dorze tibeb — red, black and yellow stepped geometry, the very cloth the artist wears.
